Minerals, trace elements and vitamins are essential ingredients for animal feed. With Mervit Premixes our ingredients are added in a professional, reliable and accurate way and are developed and tailored to meet the needs of our clients. In addition, we offer a range of standard Mervit premixes. Where required, the recipe of the feed can be extended with the help of additional premixes.
Mervit® A.F.L.S. 601
A condition which can occur in hens is Fatty Liver Hemorrhagic Syndrome where fatty livers lead to possible haemorrhages. Very often, fatty livers go hand and hand with overweight hens or hens with a substantial amount of stomach fat. This can result in a drop in production levels and an increase in mortality rates. An assessment of the colour of the hen's comb doesn't match up with the degree of fat in the liver. The weight of an older hen is a better indication of the degree of liver fat.
In situations where there are fatty livers in hens, Mervit's Anti Fatty Liver Syndrome mix can be added to the poultry feed. By doing this, extra Methionine, Vitamin E, Vitamin B12 and Choline are added to the mixed feed.
