Mervit SPORAVIT UNIVERS is a universal additional feed for piglets, finishing pigs and sows with the focus being on supporting the immune system. Vitamin E and C play a vital role. The recommended dosage varies from 10 to 60 grams per animal per day (from piglet to sow).

Mervit® SPORAVIT UNIVERS is suitable for use in the following circumstances:

• If there is a short-term reduction in consumption.
• During or after an illness where the immune system needs to be strengthened.
• When the animal has had diarrhoea or has been given antibiotics. This can result in a high chance that the intake of food has been reduced and the amount of nutrients in the intestinal tract is also lower. At the same time, the intestinal tract produces fewer vitamins. An extra boost of trace elements and vitamins can compensate for the shortage.
• Vaccinations often result in reduced consumption. In this 'planned' scenario it is recommended to give additional supplements from 3 days before the vaccination until a week after. The extra supply of trace elements and vitamins will reduce most negative effects resulting from the vaccination.
• During stressful periods. Stress causes a huge impact on the body's vitamin reserves or levels. Especially in terms of Vitamin B and C.
• When sows molt. An increase in supplements and certain vitamins and trace elements can speed up the molting process.

By using Mervit SPORAVIT ZEUG the risk of splay legs in newborn piglets is reduced and energy levels are improved. Mervit SPORAVIT ZEUG is an additional feed that should be scattered amongst the sow feed in doses of 30 grams. By adding this mineral mix at least 1 week before and 3 days after farrowing, the piglets will receive extra trace elements and vitamins which help develop muscle cells and improve their vitality.
