MervoBest®

Soya and Rapeseed

Our product MervoBest contains a high level of intestinal absorbable protein. Soybean meal or rapeseed meal is treated so that the amount of bypass protein is increased. As the bypass protein content goes up, the amount of intestinal available protein also increases.

The protein is bound within the feed and therefore cannot be easily broken down in the rumen by micro-organisms. This means that a large proportion of the protein in MervoBest passes through the rumen. In the abomasum, the acidic environment breaks the bond and the protein is then digested in the gastrointestinal tract.
