Help your laying hens to perform during the hot summer months

The hot summer months are once again with us. Particularly the months of July and August are characterised by not only warm, but also humid weather conditions. The heat stress associated with this negatively affects the animals.

Heat stress among poultry leads to a decrease in the intake of feed and a disruption of the acid-base balance in the blood because the poultry pants more in an effort to eliminate heat from its body. MERVIT HEATMIX has a favourable impact on the acid-base balance and consequently reduces the adverse effects of heat stress. The mix can be administered via the feed as well as the drinking water. The advantage of administering the substance via the drinking water is that it makes it possible to quickly and flexibly anticipate to changing weather conditions.
